To enrol in this course you must meet the following criteria:

  • completed/are enrolled in a higher education course or university degree
  • prior experience working at a sporting event either as a chaperone, healthcare provider, or in a sport or anti-doping operational or administrative role.

You must also have:

  • English proficiency (oral and written)
  • no criminal record.

This course does not include nationally recognised units of competency and does not lead to an AQF qualification.

It provides an industry‑recognised certification issued by the International Testing Agency (ITA) and is respected and recognised across the globe in the sports sector.

The program includes:

  • Self-paced online learning to build your understanding of the anti-doping landscape, procedures and best practice before you arrive on site.
  • A 3-day, hands-on training event to develop practical competencies for athlete notification, sample collection and mission execution in real world scenarios.
  • Practical and theoretical examinations to verify your capability across procedures and decision making, with successful completion recognised through certification.
