How you'll learn

You'll complete a 1-day workshop at UQ St Lucia, with a virtual classroom available upon request.

During this training you'll explore new product development case studies and the lessons learned from these events. You'll also get the opportunity to put your skills into practice by running a novel food through a new product development process.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

You must:

  • be aged 18 years or over
  • work in the food manufacturing sector.

This training is ideal for food safety managers, operations and quality assurance staff, and new product development/research and development officers.

All UQ Skills programs require access to a computer with a Windows operating system, up-to-date versions of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader, and a reliable internet connection.
