You'll learn to recognise plant pests, diseases and disorders, and how to safely apply and transport agricultural chemicals.

- transporting and applying chemicals safely for weed control, plant pests and disease
- plant threats and how to assess pests, disease and disorders affecting plants
- establishing and implementing effective and compliant plant protection plans
- chemical application for plant disease, pests and disease
- principles and practices of plant protection in relation to production horticulture and land conservation.
How you'll learn
This program is delivered over 2–3 days through a combination of online and in-person learning.
Assessment
You will be assessed through a variety of methods, including written case studies, project-based assessment, and written exams.
