Gain skills and knowledge in rural business development and management with the Farm Business Management Skill Set AHCSS00030.
This accredited short course is designed for farm business owners, managers or workers wishing to learn how to manage a farm business, including risk management.
Topics include:
- how to develop, monitor, manage and review farm business operations and performance in line with relevant legislation and codes of practice
- industry insights and strategies for growing existing business, including new acquisitions
- advanced risk management strategies
- how to apply knowledge of business structures and stakeholder relationships to drive business performance in a cost-effective manner
- advanced skills to analyse business performance and achieve business sustainability
- marketing strategies to drive sales and support growth
- financial and operational skills for managing and improving a farm business.
How you'll learn
This program is delivered as a 4-day face-to-face workshop.
On completion of this qualification, you'll receive a statement of attainment.
Assessment
You will be assessed through a variety of methods, including written exams and reports, oral assessments and practical demonstrations.

Recognition of Prior Learning
If you have recent work experience you may be eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning.

Subsidised co-contribution fees:
