Gain theoretical and practical knowledge of working with animals with the Certificate IV in Animal Regulation and Management ACM40122.
This nationally accredited program is designed for staff employed in the animal control and regulation industry.
It will guide you through animal compliance investigations, from dealing with conflict with the public, to legislation and issuing infringement and compliance notices, to interviewing witnesses and preparing a brief of evidence and attending court.
You will study animal behaviour, first aid and management of pound operations. Some elective choices can include microchipping, community programs and euthanasia assistance.
