Champion sustainability in your workplace!
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the environment?
Whether you’re a manager, team leader or individual contributor, this training will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to drive sustainability initiatives in your workplace.
You’ll learn how to:
- evaluate current work practices and identify areas for improvement
- develop and implement strategies to enhance the sustainability of your workplace
- monitor and assess the effectiveness of sustainability measures
- utilise data to measure, adapt and improve sustainability strategies
- incorporate and apply relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and standards
- promote a culture of sustainability.
How you'll learn
This program is delivered over 3 weeks through a combination of online learning and virtual workshops (Tuesday and Thursday, 7–8:30pm).
Assessment
You will be assessed through a variety of methods, including written exams and reports, oral assessments and practical demonstrations.

There are no academic entry requirements for this course. However you must demonstrate you have at least 2 years of work experience.
All UQ Skills programs require access to a computer with a Windows operating system, up-to-date versions of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader, and a reliable internet connection.
Recognition of Prior Learning
If you have recent work experience you may be eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning.
