With 100 species of venomous snakes across Australia, knowing how to effectively treat a snake bite is essential.
In this non-accredited course you’ll learn how to:
- identify reptilian behaviour and habitats
- differentiate between venomous and non-venomous snakes
- understand snake bite outcomes, venom and their influences
- interact with snakes in a way that minimises the risk of being bitten
- provide emergency first aid treatments for snake bites.
How you'll learn
In this 4-hour interactive workshop, our friendly and professional trainers take you through the theory and practical skills needed to treat snake bites.

We recommend being at least 16 years of age to participate in this course.
