With 100 species of venomous snakes across Australia, knowing how to effectively treat a snake bite is essential.

In this non-accredited course you’ll learn how to:

  • identify reptilian behaviour and habitats
  • differentiate between venomous and non-venomous snakes
  • understand snake bite outcomes, venom and their influences
  • interact with snakes in a way that minimises the risk of being bitten
  • provide emergency first aid treatments for snake bites.
