Become a recognised clean sport educator, globally.
This program prepares you to plan, design and deliver engaging education that meets the WADA International Standard for Education (ISE), from values based sessions to regulations, TUEs and supplements.
You’ll master facilitation and storytelling, learn to adapt for international audiences, and leave with practical resources and a portfolio of teaching videos.
On completion, you earn ITA certification that organisations worldwide recognise when staffing education programs and event-based outreach.
How you’ll learn
You’ll learn through a practical, 12 week journey that blends:
- on demand modules
- live expert coaching
- small group practice
- real teaching tasks.
Sessions are led by ITA education coaches and subject experts.
Plan for weekly module work (readings, short quizzes) plus preparation for the 2 live sessions and 3 brief video assignments across the 12 weeks.
Upon completion of this program, you'll be ready to deliver clean sport education with confidence.
Assessment
To pass you must:
- attend 2 live virtual events and 2 peer group meetings
- complete 6 modules and 6 knowledge tests
- submit 3 video assignments.

To enrol in this course you meet one of the following criteria:
- completed/are enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in PE/education/related field, or
- 2+ years in a sports related role, or
- elite/international level athlete.
You must also have:
- English proficiency (oral and written)
- strong interest in clean sport
- verbal/presentation skills or willingness to develop
- no criminal record.
All UQ Skills programs require access to a computer with a Windows operating system, up-to-date versions of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader, and a reliable internet connection.

This course does not include nationally recognised units of competency and does not lead to an AQF qualification.
It provides an industry‑recognised certification issued by the International Testing Agency (ITA) and is respected and recognised across the globe in the sports sector.
The program includes:
- Self-paced foundations: Work through 6 interactive modules at your own pace, each ending with a short knowledge check, so you build a complete view of the anti-doping landscape without falling behind.
- Live expert coaching: Join 2 interactive virtual events — a Communication and Presentation Masterclass and an Event-Based Education session — to practice techniques, ask questions, and get real time feedback from ITA coaches and ambassadors.
- Peer learning and feedback: Meet twice with a small Peer Learning Group to exchange ideas, review short presentation videos, and receive personalised feedback that sharpens your content and delivery style.
- Applied teaching tasks: Record 3 short teaching videos that translate your learning into practice and build a reusable portfolio for athlete and ASP sessions. (Your final video is graded to certification standard.)
- Ready to use resources: Access sample presentation decks and curated readings you can adapt immediately for in person or virtual education.
